Inter Milan star Federico Dimarco of Italy has won the award for the best player in the Italian League for the 2025/26 season, during the Italian Footballers' Association awards ceremony, "Gran Gala del Calcio".
Dimarco's crowning with the most prominent award in the competition came after an exceptional season in which the Italian defender delivered distinguished performances in the Inter Milan shirt, earning him the award for best player overall in the Italian League.
Inter Milan's presence was not limited to Dimarco's crowning, as the ideal lineup for last season included 4 players from the team, namely Dimarco, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Alessandro Bastoni, and Manuel Akanji, confirming the strong performances delivered by the team and its players during the season.
According to the Italian League Association, Dimarco ended the season with remarkable attacking statistics, having scored 6 goals and provided 18 assists, setting a record as the player with the most assists in a single season in the history of the competition.
